Imporant Insurance Questions

1. What insurance plans does Atlas Physical Therapy cover?

Atlas accepts most major group insurance plans. We also accept Medicare, Worker’s Compensation, Auto Insurance and Private Insurance.  Please note that we are unable to accept Medicaid at this time, but we do accept Healthcare USA.

For a complete listing of insurance providers, please see click here.

2. What are my financial obligations as a patient?

Physical Therapy services are covered by most plans and your obligation, which is usually a co-pay or a percentage of the contracted amount, will depend on your specific plan.

To best determine your co-pay, deductible or percentage amount, please contact us or call the number for provider relations on the back of your insurance card.

3. If I do not carry insurance, can I still receive treatment at Atlas and what will it cost?

Yes you can, however, you must have a prescription from your physician to receive physical therapy services.  The cost of your treatment is contingent upon your individual treatment and we will be happy to let you know that cost prior to your visit.

4. Can I be seen without a prescription or doctor's referal?

Yes you can be seen for an inital screening. Atlas Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is proud to offer a free screening service to help determine whether you need to see your physician for testing or treatment of the musculoskeletal system. After the inital screening, you need a doctor's prescription for further treatment.
